Monthly Meetings

November 15th 2025 demo/workshop artist - Rita Ford (alcohol ink workshop)

Rita creates abstract and garden inspired paintings that are colorful, playful and peaceful… and a welcome addition to your home. Rita grew up in a large family. Her paintings are inspired by the love and fun at home. Sometimes loud and colorful, sometimes peaceful and calm, and always joyful. Another important inspiration for Rita is her Catholic faith. She is particularly inspired by St. Therese of Lisieux, also known as The Little Flower. St. Therese is known for her '“little way”; a simple approach to spiritual life that seeks to do ordinary things with extraordinary love. She thought of herself as the smallest flower in the garden, but also knew that EVERY flower in the garden is important and serves a purpose.
