FARMERS BRANCH CARROLLTON ART ASSOCIATION

GALLERY/EXHIBIT AGREEMENT

Sales: If your exhibited work is available for sale, state the price of each work.  All sales from this show will be handled through the Farmers Branch Carrollton Art Association (FBCAA), and a commission of 30% will be retained by FBCAA. The cost and arrangements for the shipment, delivery, or pick up of any work sold during the show is the sole responsibility of the artist. 

FBCAA is not responsible for and will not issue any Certificate of Authenticity to any buyer/purchaser of any work. Such Certificates are the sole responsibility of the artist. 

Acceptance and Grant of Promotional and Publication Rights: Any image submitted may be used for marketing and promotional purposes directly related to the show or future shows without further remuneration to the artist. This use may include publication in any publications, printed materials, advertisements, or electronic / social media. Copyright and all other rights remain that of the artist. Further, I understand and agree that the selection of a work entered by me into this show grants FBCAA the right to photograph the work and/or use the submitted digital file(s) for use in a catalogue if a catalogue is published, via publication in a slideshow or as an individual work on FBCAA website, or for any other promotional purpose. 

Entries selected for the show cannot be removed early and must remain in place for the duration of the show. Sold item may be removed at the end of the exhibition. I agree that I will not remove any artwork(s) from display until the official ending day of the show without written permission from FBCAA curator.

Waiver of Liability and Acknowledgement of Self-Insurance: FBCAA is not responsible for breakage, replacement or cost associated with any loss, damage or breakage. Every precaution will be taken in handling the entries, but FBCAA assumes no liability for any loss or damage to any artist's work while in our care, custody or control, before during or after the exhibition. Each artist, if they wish, should provide their own insurance.

FBCAA reserves the right to reject any work not meeting eligibility requirements or not deemed appropriate to hang in the gallery, even after the image has been accepted by jurors and delivered to the gallery.

Agreement: Submission of one or more entries to the show constitutes my agreement to and acceptance of the terms and conditions set forth in this and the following paragraphs, and indicates that I have read and understand the terms of this grant of the rights stated within this paragraph and the waiver and acknowledgement contained within the following paragraph: I hereby agree to release and hold harmless FBCAA, and its affiliates and assigns, from any and all liability arising from publication of said images.
