PROSPECTUS LEMMA COFFEE SHOP
This is a FBCAA member-only show and only 3 works of art can be submitted. All current members must meet our guidelines to have their artwork displayed in the gallery.
All media accepted. (2-D only)
Only original art created will be accepted. No digital reproductions of paintings, drawings or prints will be accepted. AI generated images may be used as reference only. No other AI generated work will be accepted.
No installations, dipthycs or triptych etc.
All artwork must be family-friendly, that is, nudity, political or religious statements, or images will not be allowed.
No collaborative artworks. All art submitted must be an original composition of an individual artist.
Artworks previously exhibited in a FBCAA exhibition are not accepted.
Artwork submitted may not have been created in an instructional setting, including but not limited to workshops and art classes.
Any canvas less than 1.5 inches (gallery wrapped) in depth must be framed. All stretched canvases must be painted on the sides.
Entries must conform to the FBCAA hanging Guidelines.
All pieces to be hung on a wall must be properly wired for hanging with D rings and wire with ends covered to avoid injury when handling.
Sawtooth hangers are not acceptable.
Artwork on metal cannot have sharp edges. If they do, they must be framed.
Place the entry tags (see submission process) securely to the back of your artwork in ADVANCE of intake day.
Artwork must be submitted and picked up during the designated intake and pick up times. No exceptions. FBCAA does not have the ability to store artwork.
Any special requirements for hanging or displaying artwork must be approved by the curator IN ADVANCE of submission deadline.
FBCAA reserves the right to reject any works not meeting eligibility requirements or deemed inappropriate even after the image has been accepted.
Works no larger than 30” wide accepted to allow for maximum participation for FBCAA members. For larger works contact the curator for details IN ADVANCE of submission deadline.
If your art sells during this show, it must remain as part of the exhibit until the end of the exhibit. All sales are handled through FBCAA. The artist will be paid 70% of the sale price by FBCAA. (30% FBCAA commission)
Your art MUST be picked up on the pick up date and time. If you are unable to pick up your artwork, make arrangements for someone to pick up on your behalf. Notify the curator in advance that arrangements have been made. (Art not picked up on the pick up date is subject to a daily storage fee of $1.00 per day payable to FBCAA.)
